Woolly Mammoths!

Updated: Oct 11, 2020

In Literacy this week, Maple Class have been learning how to write an instruction text. We have been taking our inspiration from the book ‘How to wash a Woolly Mammoth’ by Michelle Robinson. We have used games to support our learning on prepositions and imperative verbs. Yesterday, we read and followed a set of instructions which taught us how to draw a Woolly Mammoth.

We also started our learning on the Bronze Age and this week we made fragments of Beaker style pots using clay, which we decorated using patterns similar to those we saw on Beaker pots found by archaeologists.
