Painting, printing and pumpkins!

This week in Acorn class we are looking at pumpkins! Today we have painted pumpkins, washed pumpkins, measured pumpkins and started our pumpkin printing pictures! The children had great fun getting messy whilst painting the pumpkins and then enjoyed splashing around in the water tray as we washed them off to start over. We also looked at different size pumpkins and ordered them from biggest to smallest. We then used cubes to measure how tall each one was and practiced our counting. The children started their pumpkin artwork, we used apple halves dipped in orange paint to print pumpkin shapes on our paper. Once they have dried we will add funny faces and a stalk.
