Cycling Proficiency

Updated: Oct 12, 2018

Despite the rain, 25 children braved the elements with their shiny bicycles and helmets (some riders even wore coats!) to complete a Cycling proficiency program. The showers did not dampen spirits and the show went on! The children learnt many aspects of cycle safety including how to position their seats correctly, checking their brakes and tyre pressures. They then began to manoeuvre around the playground safely listening to vital instructions along the way.

Well done to the children of Oakhurst for being so brave and enthusiastic! We will have lots of sensible riders on the roads!

The children have now received their cycling proficiency pin badges in Celebration Assembly! Well done again to all of the children!
